With an update in the Panda,
Penguin, and Hummingbird search algorithms in early 2016, Google has tried to
solve many apparently non-solving issues regarding the search engine
optimization technique. SEO is a combination of certain stratagems used for
increasing the rank of any website in order to get more traffic on the site. In
the past few decades, a lot of black hat SEO methods have been used which
include copied or spin content, link blocking, spam comments, overusing the
same keyword or keyword stuffing, cloaking etc. This has resulted in the
reduction of the page rank. This is the reason Google has updated its algorithms
to stop deceptive SEO techniques.
But the consequences of
modifying the Panda and Penguin algorithms have also affected many companies
negatively, who majorly depend on SEO services. Rumors come that this has made
the SEO ineffective, which is not the truth. It is true, that for this upgrade,
some older methods of SEO have become obsolete, but they are not dead. The
changes of the post-algorithm are given below-
- The importance of domain has been increased with the domain level penalty which means low standard pages, now harm the entire domain.
- Duplicate or spin content can affect the site directly which has provoked people to follow white hat SEO techniques.
- Copying the same link into different sites will blacklist the web page for which the SEO is being done.
The stratagems of SEO have
changed with an alteration on some techniques. This has reduced the black hat
process of SEO and has provoked the professionals to follow white hat methods
only in order to get traffic on their website, which may have modified the SEO
techniques, but has kept it effective too.

knowledge of SEO dead after the modification of Google
algorithms, it is suggested to
